PURPOSE:To obtain the magnetic toner and developer having a large triboelectrostatic charge quantity by using a magnetic material having a specific tape density and linseed oil absorption for the magnetic toner contg. a binder resin and magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:The triboelectrostatic charge quantity increases if the flocs of the magnetic material are disintegrated to loosen the flocs so as to increase the tap density, etc., and to provide the characteristics of 1.2-2.5g/cm<3> tap density and 5-30ml/100g linseed oil absorption to said material in the final stage at the time of forming the magnetic material. The magnetic toner and developer which have good fine line reproducibility and resolution and are adequate for development processing of a digital latent image having high image densities are thus obtd. |
