PURPOSE:To exactly decide the diseased condition such as Kawasaki disease and bacterial infectious disease by detecting the antitumor death factor antibody- reactive material in the bodily fluid taken from a person to be examined by an immunological measurement method using the antitumor death factor antibody. CONSTITUTION:The bodily fluid of the person to be examined under suspicion of being infected by the Kawasaki disease or bacteria infectious disease is taken and the content of the antitumor death factor antibody-reactive material, more specifically the tumor death factor (TNF) contained therein is measured. The content thereof or the change thereof is detected and the progression of the disease condition is judged. The antitumor death factor antibody is used to measure the antitumor death factor antibody-reaction material by the immunological measurement method. The antiserum or monoclonal antibody for the tumor death factor (TNF) is used as the antibody. An ordinarily known sandwich method is used as the method.
