<p>Hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene or trischlorotrisphenoxycyclotriphosphazene is reacted with one or more of phenol, 4-nitrophenol, an alkaline metal phenolate salt, and an alkaline metal 4-nitrophenolate salt to prepare isomeric tris(4-nitrophenoxy)tris(phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene, which can be reduced in an ethyl acetate solvent with molecular hydrogen in the presence of a platinum oxide catalyst to produce isomeric tris(4-aminophenoxy)tris(phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene.</p> |
