PURPOSE:To eliminate complicated interrupting functions for an automatic exchange and to attain the interrupting calls of a required number, by allocating telephone sets to a representing line group via an interrupting device. CONSTITUTION:When a telephone set T3 makes a call to a T2 during the communication of the telephone sets T1 and T2 to select a representing number PN, a central controller CC discriminates the busy state of a representing line L1, selects a slave line L2 and connects an interrupting device OFE to a call signal trunk RGT via a channel P6 in a network NW. The controller CC detects the response of a called party via a trunk RGT, sets channels P7, P8, to release a channel P6 and connects the telephone set T3 to a line corresponding section of the OFE via an intra-office trunk IOT2 and channels P7, P8. A relay in the line corresponding section is activated with a DC current applied from a trunk IOT2 to connect the line L2 to the L1. As a result, the telephone set T3 makes an interruption call to the telephone set T2 during the call. |
