Apparatus for the line conveyance of flue gases, in particular flue gases downstream of a wet-operating flue gas desulphurising plant, consisting of a pipeline and a lining. The pipeline is composed of sheet steel and the lining of plastic, in particular fibre-reinforced plastic. The lining is designed as an independent, tubular component which is supported on the inner wall of the pipeline with interposition of spacer rings. The spacer rings are, for their part, arranged at a distance from one another. The gap between the tubular component and the inner wall of the pipeline is connected to the outside air via a ventilating device. <IMAGE>
