PURPOSE:To enable control of an amount of a diffused odor, by a method wherein an odor ribbon having microcapsules which contains an odor component and are dispersed is mounted in a cleaner body, and the microcapsule is ruptured during movement of the odor ribbon. CONSTITUTION:When air passing an electric filter 5 and an activated coal filter 6 for cleaning passes an odor ribbon 7, the air contains steam of an odor component, which is adhered to the air, and the air is exhausted to the interior of a room. The odor ribbon 7 is set in a rollform state on a shaft 8 and moved through rotation of a ribbon winding drive shaft 9 and wound around the drive shaft 9. The ribbon winding drive shaft 9 is driven through a belt 10 with the aid of an electric motor 11 for driving a ribbon. The odor ribbon 7 passes a gap between pressure rollers 12 and 12 during movement of the odor ribbon from the shaft 8 to the ribbon winding shaft 9. In this case, a pressure is applied on microcapsules in the odor ribbon 7 to rupture the microcapsule, and perfume is diffused in exhausted air. |
