PURPOSE:To relax the speed change shock of an automatic speed change gear and to prevent worsening of running property of a vehicle, by a method wherein the more the running speed of a vehicle is lower, the more an amount of correction on a reference control amount of an engine is decreased. CONSTITUTION:An engine B and an automatic speed change gear C are mounted to a vehicle A. In this case, the running speed of the vehicle A is detected by a means D. An amount of correction on a reference control amount of one object B' to be controlled, by which an engine B output is changed, is served for relaxation of a speed change shock occasioned by the speed change motion of the automatic speed change gear C, and the correction amount is set by a means E so that the more the detected running speed of a vehicle is lower, the more the correction amount is decreased. Based on the set correction amount, a reference correction amount is corrected, and according to the corrected reference control amount, the object B' to be controlled is controlled by a means F. This constitution prevents worsening of running property of the vehicle A and the occurrence of an engine stall. |
