PURPOSE:To improve the reliability and the maintainability of a heat fixation system by sliding a scraper or cleaning member almost in parallel to the rotary shaft of a heat roll. CONSTITUTION:The scraper 11 is provided between the contact between both rollers 3 and 4 and an oil coating point 24 in contact with the heat roll 3 and when this scraper 11 is cleaned, the entire surface of the scraper 11 is securely cleaned while the scraper 11 is separated completely from the heat roll 3. The surface of the heat roll 3 is flawed by neither the scraper 11 nor a cleaning tool, etc., in cleaning operation and problems which are generated by the sticking of offset toner on the surface of the heat roll 3 are eliminated for a long period. Consequently, the reliability and maintainability are improved. |
