In a photo-copying machine having a tray 14 for holding processing liquid through which sheet material is passed, the tray is connected via a flexible tube 40 with a liquid reservoir package 20 on a substantially horizontal platform 46 which is movable between an upper position shown in which liquid therein flows under gravity into the tray, and a lower position Fig. 1 (not shown) in which the tray is drained by gravity flow of the liquid. Such gravity flow also agitates the liquid. The platform 46 is part of an elevator 45 to side walls (49), 50 of which pivot pins 57 are attached. Arms (55), 56 pivotable about a shaft 60 are also pivoted at the pins 57; movement of the arms by means of a handle (67) thus raising or lowering the elevator. As shown, the machine is used in a diffusion transfer process.</p> |
