PURPOSE:To save the power consumption by using a switch closing or opening its contact with a signal of a means detecting an incident light when a cover of a radio equipment is opened so as to supply or interrupt the power to/from a monitor control section. CONSTITUTION:An incident light detection means 2 of an outdoor radio equipment detects a light to be made incident when a maintenance personnel visiting the radio equipment 1 opens a closing cover of the radio equipment 1 to output a detection signal (d). The detection signal (d) drives the switch 3 to make the contact of the switch 3. A power supply is supplied to a monitor control circuit 11 for the internal maintenance of the radio equipment 1 through the make contact of the switch 3. When the maintenance personnel completes the monitor maintenance of the monitor control circuit 11 and closes the cover, since the incident light is lost, the incident light detection means 2 does not output the detection signal (d), the switch 3 is opened and the power supply to the monitor control circuit 11 is interrupted automatically. |
