<p>PURPOSE:To dispense with a power source button without eliminating an operation standby condition by causing the functions of operating buttons to be different according to three modes and energizing a power source with the output of an action command signal generating means. CONSTITUTION:A stopping button 1, a reproducing button 2, a rapid traverse button 3, a rewinding button 4, a picture-recording button 5, an ejecting button 6 to instruct the fetching of a cassette, a picture-recording reserving button 7, a tuning button 8, and a cassette-in sensor 9 to detect whether the cassette is inserted or not are connected to a system control circuit 10. By the operation of the stopping button 1, a power circuit 17 is turned on and off. By the reproducing button 2, rapid traverse button 3, rewinding button 4, and cassette-in sensor 9, a shift to a third mode is executed even in the case of a first mode in which the power source is not energized only when conditions to enable the shift from a second mode to be an operation standby condition to the third mode to be the action condition of a device are completed. Thus, the power source is turned on, and though the second mode is provided, the power source button can be made unnecessary.</p> |
