PURPOSE:To reduce the odor at the time of ignition and extinguishment in a hot air heater by stopping fuel supply after combining the operation of a convective air blower with reverse and steady rotary directions in an ignition mode, using adsorbent and reversely rotating the convective air blower in an extinguishment mode. CONSTITUTION:Air for burning is sent in a vaporizing cylinder 10 from an air blower 8 and purge is started. After the air blower 1 is operated in the reverse direction to the steady operation rotary direction, combustible gas is purged in a burning cylinder 5 and odor component is adsorbed by adsorbent 11 from the rear of a hot air heater, hot air is released in a room. After purge, a lighter 4 and an electromagnetic pump 3 are actuated and burning is started on a burner 2. At the time of extinguishment mode, the convective air blower 1 is reversely rotated and operated. After little odor component of burning exhaust gas is further absorbed by the adsorbent 11, it is released in the room from the rear face of the hot air heater. At this time the operation of the electromagnetic pump 3 is stopped. |
