<p>PURPOSE: To provide an inline type flow rate regulating valve operable from the outside by projecting a tab of a rotatable seal member from a circumference slot formed in the outside wall of a main body and turning a sleeve member engaged with the tab. CONSTITUTION: A flow rate regulating valve is provided with a housing, which is provided with a fluid inlet 16 and a fluid outlet 18 and constructed of a main body 12 and a fitting 44. Inside the main body 12, a stationary seal member 30 having a partial opening, a rotatable seal member 32 having a flow-out port 36 and a thrust washer 42 are housed. On the outside wall of the main body 12, a circumference slot 22, through which a tab 68 of the rotatable seal member 32 is protruded, is formed. The tab 68 is engaged in a vertical groove 26 of a sleeve member 24 fitted around the main body 12. When the sleeve member 24 is turned, the rotatable seal member 32 is rotated, so that a flow rate can be regulated.</p> |
