<p>PURPOSE: To reduce power consumption in a stand-by mode by stopping the operation of a control circuit and a switching stage except when the switching stage carries out a switching function or when a power feed device feeds electric energy to a load. CONSTITUTION: The feed of energy to loads 5, 6 and a switching stage 7 are controlled by a control circuit 14 through an energy transferring element 3, and energy feed is cut off in the switch-off state of the control circuit 14, and the energy feed is controlled through the energy transferring element 3 in the switch-on state of the control circuit 14. Also, the control circuit receives energy supply from a supply voltage terminal 15 only when the control circuit is in the switch-on state in advance. Since a change into that state is infeasible without energy supply, the control circuit 14 directly supplies the energy from a power source 1 to an energy storage device 18 to store it thereinto and also is provided with a starting circuit 17.</p> |
