PURPOSE:To perform the optimum level of reproduction by reproducing digital image information based on compressed and recorded digital image information and information with respect to a data compressibility attached on the digital image information. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a reference mode to record all of the data outputted from an A/D converter 2, a double mode to record the data outputted from a block encoding circuit 3, and a quadruple mode to record the data outputted from a deframing circuit 4. And the digital image information is reproduced based on the digital image information recorded by compressing an information quantity variably and the information with respect to the data compressibility attached on the digital image information. In such a way, it is possible to perform the optimum expansion corresponding to the compressibility in reproduction, and to perform digital reproduction with high picture quality. |
