PURPOSE:To realize a high speed segmentation expansion processing by generating an image data only for a required area in the production of the image data through the expansion of the compressed code thereby avoiding generation of an useless image. CONSTITUTION:A circuit 2 obtaining an original image color an run length from compression code data, a circuit 4 deciding the coordinate of image obtained from the code processed at present from the total sum of run length obtained from the circuit 2 and discriminating whether or not the coordinate exists in the area and a circuit 7 generating a corresponding binary image from the color and run length of only the image existing in the area are provided to the system. Then only the image of the required area is generated and useless image is not generated. Thus, the high speed segmentation and expansion processing of the compressed image is realized. |
