<p>PURPOSE:To improve assembling operability by providing pin receiving pieces on a pin member in such a manner as to freely slide, sealing a sliding portion between the pin member and the pin receiving pieces, and fixing the pin receiving pieces to a stationary member by a thread fastening fixing means. CONSTITUTION:Previously a disc brake structural member is assembled, an inner pad 21 and an outer pad 22 are engaged with a pair of fitting portions 12 of a stationary member, and a pair of slide pin receiving pieces 13 which are small sized and of a simple form are fixed to the stationary member by thread fastening fixing means comprising a bolt 32. Thus, a disc brake 11 is installed on the paired fitting portions of the stationary member through the slide pin receiving pieces 13. Accordingly, the assembling operability can be remarkably improved, the weight can be reduced and the cost can be reduced. A sliding portion between the pieces 13 and a slide pin 23 is sealed by a seal member 41 and a boot 42, and the sliding portion can be prevented from being rusted by muddy water, soil and the like so as to ensure smooth operation of a caliper 19.</p> |
