<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize the drive source of, reduce the rotation mass of, and prevent the runout of the shaft of a vortex vacuum pump by integrally providing a disc-shaped rotor which is rotated at a high speed with a plurality of vanes corresponding to each inside area of a plurality of annular flow passages, and connecting the annular flow passages together in series. CONSTITUTION:A vortex pump element 9 with a rotor body 8 is positioned between a suction opening 2 provided in the upper area of a pump housing 1 and a discharge opening 3 provided in a base member 10. The rotor body 8 is rotated by a motor 12 through a rotary shaft 11. The rotor body 8 is formed by integrally setting three vanes, that's, No.1-No.3 vanes 8a-8c, on the upper and lower surfaces of and the outer peripheral side surface of a disc-shaped flange area 82. And No.1-No.3 annular flow passages 7a-7c corresponding to each vane 8a-8c are formed in a fixing member 7 which is fixed to the housing 1. These flow passages 7a-7c are connected together from the side of the suction opening 2 to the side of the discharge opening 3 in series through connecting passages 21-24, and annular cores 2a-2c are provided within each flow passage 7a-7c.</p> |
