PURPOSE:To mold a solid model in a short time, to reduce the thickness of a one layer, and to form the model of a more smooth curve by momentarily curing the surface shape of one layer by a liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION:Slice graphic data groups of equal interval are calculated in a heightwise direction from 3-dimensional graphic CAD data of a computer 13, a Z-axis movable table 2 is moved, and a model molded plate 5 is mounted directly under the lower surface of a glass case 9. The graphic data of the lowermost surface calculated by the computer 13 is fed to a control unit 12, a voltage is applied to a liquid crystal panel 10 at a position to be cured, the light of an ultraviolet lamp 11 is transmitted, photosensitive resin liquid 6 is cured, the table 2 is then moved down at a distance corresponding to one layer, the liquid 6 is fed from a pump unit 7 simultaneously upon downward movement to cure the next layer. This operation is repeated to form a model 15 on the molded plate. |
