PURPOSE:To output the same image as read image information by controlling a magnifying ratio and a reducing ratio according to the resolution of an output device, and changing the image information supplied from a storing means into the resolution instructed by a controlling means. CONSTITUTION:In the case the image information read by an operator is outputted to a liquid crystal printer 36 through a printing control circuit 29, because the resolution of the printer 36 is obtained beforehand, a CPU 20 supplies the image information stored in an image buffer memory 26 to a resolution conversion control circuit 31, and after enlarging or reducing it, stores it again in the memory 26. The circuit 31 is the circuit to perform above-mentioned enlarging or reducing corresponding to the resolution, and by using this circuit, the image information read by 200DPI, for instance, is converted into the information of 240DPI for the printer 36. Then, the CPU 20 outputs the information after conversion in the memory 26 to the printer 36 through the circuit 29. |
