摘要 PURPOSE: To improve reliability of a system by digitally filtering at least one of a tool position feedback signal, an initial control signal generated as a function of an angle position of a workpiece and the final control signal. CONSTITUTION: A piston 11 being a workpiece is driven in rotation by a spindle 16 so that the angle position is detected by a spindle encoder 18. A lengthwise directional position of a cutting tool 24 to the piston 11 is continuously monitored by a Z axis encoder 26. A digital controller 36 controls a linear motor of an actuator module 22 through a D/A 42 and an analog filter circuit 44 by deciding control gain of a PID by a digital filter circuit by a tool position feedback signal, an initial control signal being a function of an angle position and a signal of a signal adjusting circuit 34. An output prohibiting circuit is actuated at abnormal time. Thus, a cross sectional elliptic piston can be worked with high accuracy and excellent reliability.
