PURPOSE: To eliminate the leakage at points of covering rigid bodies and to facilitate the insertion of plants into holes by constituting a material bored with holes of a material which seals this material and plants. CONSTITUTION: This supporting device comprises a bag 1 which is made of a flexible wall 4 made of a closed cell plastic material consisting of a middle- density polyethylene foam and non-coated nylon (15μmthickness) or polyethylene (50μm thickness) laminated materials and a medium, such as gel (a mixture composed of water and starch) which is put into this bag and has moisture. The device is, therefore, capable of withstanding accidental tear or punching and is bored with the holes at a desired period at need. Liquidtight and airtight seals are formed around the stems of the plants inserted into the bored holes.
