PURPOSE:To enhance the Young's modulus of a joined part and to improve displacement characteristic as an actuator by filling an adhesive only in grooves formed on both or one side face of the small-sized laminate to be joined and joining them. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive 5 for joining small-sized piezoelectric laminates 1 is filled in grooves 4 formed on the upper and lower faces of the laminates 1, then pressurized, and heated to be joined. The adhesive overflowed by pressurizing from the grooves 4 is extended from the joined faces to obtain a direct contact between the laminates except the grooves 4. Accordingly, the Young' s modulus of large-sized piezoelectric laminates when a load is applied in its laminating direction becomes higher than that when the adhesive is interposed between all the faces to be joined. Thus, displacement characteristic of a piezoelectric actuator can be improved. |
