PURPOSE:To enable obtaining a high-efficiency and high-output driving force through a single electromechanical transducer, by converting the vibration of said electromechanical transducer through a connector having a plurality of inclined pieces. CONSTITUTION:An axial strctching vibration is excited, when AC voltage is applied to a piezoelectric element 4. In this case, the vibration is converted by a connector 2 having a plurality of inclined pieces, and standing waves of a circumferential shearing vibration and an axial vibration are generated in a vibrator 1. Respective material points of said vibrator 1 are excited along an almost elliptical orbit by composition of said circumferential and axial vibrations, and a rotor 6 is rotated in the specified direction on the basis of said vibrations. The rotational speed of the rotor 6 is arbitrarily changed by regulation of the magnetiude of voltage applied to the piezoelectric element 4. |
