PURPOSE:To divide the connection parts of respective ultrasonic vibrators into two to make the same compact, by separating many signal wires connected to the indivisual electrodes of the respective ultrasonic vibrators into the first and second signal wire groups. CONSTITUTION:A large number of ultrasonic vibrators 12 are arranged to the outer periphery of an insulator in an annular form and the conductive layers 13 connected to the indivisual electrodes of the ultrasonic vibrators 12 are provided between the ultrasonic vibrators 12 and the insulator 11. The conductive layers 13 are divided into two groups, that is, one group corresponding to the ultrasonic vibrators 12 arranged every other one and the other group corresponding to the remaining vibrators arranged in the same way to be connected to signal cables 14. The signal cable group issued on the leading end sides of the ultrasonic probes 12 among both signal cable groups separated into two is guided to an operating part through the hole part 15 piercing through the insulator 11. The peripheries of the connection parts of the ultrasonic vibrators 12, the insulator 11, the conductive layers 13 and the signal cables 14 to the conductive layers 13 are sealed by an insulating material 17. |
