PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform a plasticization also during a dwell process, by providing a shut off valve on the heating cylinder of a nozzle and a storage chamber of molten resin between the shut-off valve and the nozzle, and disposing a stroke-variable dwell plunger in the storage chamber. CONSTITUTION:After plasticizing (measuring) in a heating cylinder 2, a shut-off valve 8 is opened to perform an injection, thereby a mold cavity being filled with molten resin and at the same time a part thereof being flowing into a storage chamber 21. A plunger 20 retreats by a previously set stroke with the pressure of molten resin to store a specified quantity of molten resin in the storage chamber 21. To perform a dwell process, the shut-off valve 8 is shut and the plunger 20 is advanced to apply a dwell to a mold. In this case, the dwell is generated only by the plunger 20 and the heating cylinder 2 and a nozzle 19 are shut by the shut-off valve 8, so that a screw 3 can be rotated and the plasticization can be performed in parallel with the dwell process. |
