<p>Item for fitting to the hand of a swimmer, consisting of a sheet (1) made of flexible or semirigid material having a good resistance to water and of means for fixing (2) to the hand. The sheet (1) is cut out in accordance with the external shape of the hand and is applied to the skin of the hand by a smooth surface, whereas the external surface is provided with a plurality of small flexible ribs (3) and three transverse strips inclined from the end of said hand towards the wrist.
