<p>PURPOSE:To expand a given compression code into a picture at a high speed without intervention of a microprocessor or the like by providing a run length picture drawing device, a run length detector and a length modifier and using a command generator so as to control them sequentially. CONSTITUTION:The run length picture drawing device 13, the run length detector 14 and the length modifier 16 are provided and a command generator 18 generates a command for the decoding of a compression code to each device without intervention of the microprocessor. Thus, the microprocessor has only to be operated for initializing and exempting processing only for each device and as to the main processing relating to the entire usual speed, since no read overhead of the software exists, high speed processing is attained.</p> |
