<p>PURPOSE:To effectively separate and recover ruthenium by specifying the stage for the peeling of coating substance from a ruthenium resistor and each stage for the treatment of the peeled substance. CONSTITUTION:An Ru resisting body coated with the mixture of Ru oxide and metallic oxide (glass) is preliminarily treated at the heating temp. of >=500 deg.C in a reductive atmosphere to peel the coating. The peeled substance is then melted at about 800 deg.C by the molten salt between potassium hydroxide and potassium nitrate, between sodium hydroxide and sodium peroxide, etc., and the Ru oxide is converted into a soluble salt and is melted to recover Ru. By this method, Ru can effectively be separated and recovered from the metallic oxide Ru resisting body.</p> |
