PURPOSE:To enable a relief image to be formed on all types of paper, plastic film, and metal face, etc. usually used, by providing movable pieces for transferring or flying a recording material and a magnetic force generating means for actuating the movable pieces. CONSTITUTION:For example, a recording material holder 103 of a braille printer moves in the axial direction of a platen 101. In a signal-free state, tops of movable pieces 110 oozing out a recording material are nested into discharge ports 109a-109c. If a signal current passes, for example, through a solenoid coil 113, an attraction iron piece 114 is attracted. Then, the movable piece 10 whose top remains in the discharge port moves in the direction of the solenoid coil by the action of the attraction iron piece 114. With a signal OFF, the movable piece 110 is returned to a home position by a spring 112. Movable piece guides 111 position the movable pieces 110 back into the home position. If the recording material exists in an inside 108 of the holder, the movable piece 110 oozes out the recording material from the discharge port when returning. Thus, the recording material adheres on a body to be recorded 102. |
