PURPOSE:To deodorize bad smell in livestock facilities and the like efficiently as well as to contrive to let deodorizing function last long by providing the inside of a chassis with a porous partition member dividing the inside into a gas suction port side and a gas discharge port side, and thereby letting at least one surface of the partition member be covered with ventilating deodorizer carrying the substitution derivative of metallic phthaloncyanine. CONSTITUTION:A deodorizing device includes a blower 17, and is provided with a porous partition member 5 dividing the inside of a chassis 2 into a gas suction port side and a gas discharge port side wherein both a gas suction port 8 and a gas discharge port 9 are connected with the chassis. At least, one surface of the partition member 5 is covered with ventilating deodorizer 16 carrying the substitution derivative of metallic phthaloncyanine. The surface covered with the ventilating deodorizer 16 of the partition member 5 forms a plane approximately parallel with air flow, the ventilating deodorizer 16 is detachably attached. When the blower 17 is operated, gas with bad smell comes in the gas suction port 8, passes through the ventilating deodorizer 16, and is discharged out of the gas discharge port 9. Gas with bad smell is deodorized by the enzyme-like catalytic action of the substitution derivative of metallic phthalocyanine. The substitution derivative of metallic phthalocyanine acts as catalyst, and its deodorizing function lasts semi-permanently. |
