PURPOSE:To compensate a jam automatically without changing the order of page of copy paper and original when the jam occurs, by sending an original corresponding to a copy to be compensated to an exposure part through a looped path different from a normal course. CONSTITUTION:A lowermost original 530 of 30 originals 5 which are piled up in the order of page on a paper supply tray 4 is pulled out and is exposed on a glass plate 3 to produce a copy sheet CS. When a jam occurs after the original 530 is ejected from the glass plate 3, a next original 529 guided onto the glass plate 3 is ejected to a carrying path 11a, and a guide device 21 is switched to send the original 530 onto the glass plate 3 again through a by-pass 32, and the original 530 is exposed. When the original 529 placed in a hold ing position I is sent to the glass plate 3 through the by-pass 32, the original 530 is put on originals on the tary 45 in the order of page and the copy sheets CS is put on a tray 12 in the order of page, and thus, the order of pages is not changed even if the jam occurs. |
