The invention relates to a spring arrangement on a disc brake, particularly a floating-calliper brake, with a brake calliper overlapping the rim of a brake disc, two centre pins attached to the brake calliper and offset in the circumferential direction of the brake disc, which overlap the brake disc axially and on which is arranged, on each side of the brake disc, an axially displaceable brake shoe, and with a one-piece bent-wire expansion spring, a central part of which is wrapped around the holding pins in the region of one brake shoe and rests against these, rests against the top edge of one brake shoe by means of a piece bent out away from the brake disc, acts on each brake shoe with a force which has a radially inward-directed component and a component directed axially away from the brake disc, and has two legs which overlap the brake disc, these legs being inclined radially to the centre of the brake shoe. According to the invention, the expansion spring (1) has, in the region of one leg (2, 3), essentially three sections (4-9) arranged at an angle to one another, the first section (6, 9) overlapping the second brake shoe (28) and resting against the top edge (42) of the second brake shoe (28), which edge faces towards the brake disc (27), the second section (5, 8) being arranged between the brake shoe (28) and a well wall (40) of the disc brake (26) and a third section (4, 7) forming a hook (10, 11) which reaches under the holding pin (34, 35). <IMAGE>
