<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the communication with simple procedure by controlling a switching relay by a detection output of a detection galvanometer, connecting a feeder of a main transmission line to a submarine ground wire through the switching relay and the detection galvanometer and holding the connection state by the detection output of the detection galvanometer. CONSTITUTION:A feeder 4c of a branch transmission line is divided at a connecting point Db into two paths inserted respectively with diodes 24, 25 in directions with different feeding enable directions in a submarine branch device 11. Another path is connected to the submarine ground wire 5 by a connecting point G and the other path is connected to the submarine ground wire 5 via a detection galvanometer 21. The connecting point Da of feeders 4a, 4b of the main transmission line is connected to the submarine ground wire 5 via a detection galvanometer 22 for holding the switching relay 23. The switching relay 23 is closed when a current flows to one or both of the detection galvanometer 21 and the holding galvanometer 22 and released in other state. Thus, even if a fault takes place, the communication disable section is kept only to a faulty section.</p> |
