<p>A rivet mandrel (10), comprising a first portion (15) for insertion into a riveting tool and a second opposite end portion (16) terminating in a self-piercing point (17), the second opposite end portion including an enlarged head (16), the head including at one end thereof a self-piercing point (17), and at the opposite end thereof means (21) for cutting and peeling back a rivet (11) into separate portions which curl back on the rivet body. There is also described a mandrel (14) extending through the rivet and a roofing structure utilizing such a rivet mandrel.</p> |
