PURPOSE: To provide a front axle applicable to different sorts of vehicles in a type in which a wheel guide member is supported by a lateral carrier fixed to a car body through a vertical carrier by selectively fixing the vertical carrier to the lateral carrier at two axle distance positions. CONSTITUTION: A front axle 1 comprises a wheel guide link unit 2 comprising a vertical carrier 3 and a wheel guide member 4, and the unit 2 can be assembled with a lateral carrier 6 of a car body at a wheel distance by a position A or a wheel distance by a position B. Through holes 7-10 are formed in the lateral carrier 6, and two holes 11, 12 formed in the vertical carrier 3 are separated to the holes 7, 9 or 8, 10 to be tightened by bolts and nuts 16, 17. The other end part 18 of the vertical carrier 3 is fixed to the car body by a bolt inserted to through holes 19, 20, and the wheel guide member 4 is supported to the vertical carrier 3 through two hinges 27, 28.
