<p>Chronic articular rheumatism is diagnosed by EIA (enzyme/ immunological) determination of collagenase inhibitor in body fluids such as plasma, serum or synovial fluid, using the sandwich method with two monoclonal antibodies binding specifically to different antigenic determinants on the collagenase inhibitor.</p>
