PURPOSE:To simultaneously perform a large number of immunoassays by one immunoassay instrument, by providing a large number of projections to the surface of a flat base plate in close vicinity to each other and setting the planar regions interposed between the adjacent projections to immunoreaction regions. CONSTITUTION:A support 1 is formed of a rectangular base plate 2 and small projections 3, and the projections 3 are constituted of a material capable of fixing various immunoassay reagents each composed of an antibody or antigen and arranged in a matrix form. A solutions 4 of immunoassay reagents are dripped and applied to the spaces between the projections 3 to be incubated for a definite time and, after the base plate is washed with a buffer solution, blocking operation is performed in order to prevent non-specific adsorption to form immunoreaction regions 5a-5d, 6a-6d, 7a-7d. When a specimen is distributed to the regions 5a-5d, 6a-6d, 7a-7d, antigen-antibody reaction is generated between the specimen and the fixed immunoassay reagents to make it possible to perform immunoassay.
