PURPOSE:To promote the desilverization of the sensitive material by incorporating the ferric complex salt of at least one kind of a chelating agent selected from specified, chelating agent groups and at least one kind of specified compds. in a bleaching solution. CONSTITUTION:The ferric complex salt of at least one kind of the chelating agent selected from the specified chelating agent groups and at least one kind of the compds. shown by formulas I-III, are incorporated in the bleaching solution. In formulas I and II, M is hydrogen atom, alkaline metal atom, ammonium or a group shown by formula IV. In formula IV, X<1>, X<2> and X<3> are each hydrogen atom or alkyl group, and R and R<1> are each alkyl, alkylene, aryl or a heterocyclic ring group. In formula III, A is (n) valent aliphatic bonding group or an aromatic bonding group, X is -O- or -S- atom, R<1> and R<2> are each a lower alkyl group which may be substituted, R<3> and R<4> are each a lower alkyl group, groups R<1> and R<2>, R<1> and A, R<1> and R<3>, R<2> and A or R<2> and R<3> together with each other may form a ring. And, Y is an anion, (l) is 0 or 1, (m) is 0 or 1, (n) is 1, 2 or 3, (p) is 0 or 1, (q) is 0, 1, 2 or 3. They are selected so as to be electrically neutralized. Thus, the rapid desilverization of the sensitive material can be effected. |
