2,3-Substituted oxazolidines, process for preparation and use in detergents

摘要

The oxazolidines of the general formula I which are alkyl-substituted in the 2,3-position are novel substances which have both surface-active and microbistatic and microbicidal properties. The oxazolidines are prepared by proton-catalysed reaction of the correspondingly N-substituted monoethanolamines with a ketone or aldehyde introducing the alkyl group in the 2-position. The substances are suitable as detergent power-increasing or microbistatic/microbicidal additives to detergents and cleaning agents.
