<p>A monoclonal antibody specific to a unique antigen determinant on the surface of human breast carcinoma cells but which does not bind to normal human breast tissue. The antigen is characterized as a high molecular weight mucin-like glycoprotein complex having a molecular weight exceeding 400,000 daltons. Further, the monoclonal antibody is capable of being used in the diagnostic imaging and therapeutic treatment of breast cancer in humans.</p> |
