PURPOSE:To grasp properly a traffic density variation by dividing a maximum traffic density time zone into two time zones and unifying adjacent time zones into one time zone when a traffic density ratio between the maximum traffic density time zone and given adjacent time zones giving a minimum total of traffic density exceeds the predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 10 detects a maximum traffic density time zone and a time zone giving a minimum traffic density sum of given adjacent time zones, among the predetermined number of time zones dividing a day, using a traffic density detecting means 14 based upon traffic data signals from a group control device 5 about the number of waiting passengers, number of passengers in a cage, a frequency of call, a waiting time and the like. When a traffic density ratio between the aforesaid time zones exceeds the predetermined value, a maximum traffic density time zone is divided into two time zones with a time zone re-setting means 15, and adjacent time zones giving a minimum traffic density are unified into one time zone. According to the aforesaid construction, it is possible to grasp properly a traffic density variation without any increase in the capacity of a memory device 12. |
