<p>A moving coil linear motor has yokes (25, 26) disposed opposite to magnets (1, 2) magnetized in the thickness direction thereof, the yokes (25, 26) penetrating through-holes (35, 36) of a bobbin (31) on which a coil is wound. Energization of the coil generates a magnetic flux which acts against the magnetic flux of the magnets (1, 2) to move the bobbin longitudinally along the yokes. A guide is provided in the side of each yoke (25, 26) which faces away from the respective magnet (1, 2) and in the cooperating wall of the respective through-holes (35, 36) of the bobbin (31), thereby to support the bobbin (31) on the yokes (25, 26) by way of rolling elements formed as balls (37B, 38B).</p> |
