PURPOSE:To easily obtain the image of intended density by calculating the optimum voltage of an exposing lamp for the original density where correction is added according to the change of characteristic caused by the stain of an optical system and the change of the sensitivity of a photosensitive body and setting exposure. CONSTITUTION:Signals from an original density detection means 21, a means 22 for detecting the density of a developed image on a drum and a manual exposure setting means 23 at the time of manually exposing are inputted in an exposure operation means 20 and control signals are outputted to an exposing lamp control means 24, a warning display means 25 and a warning tone emitting means 26. When the optimum voltage of the exposing lamp for the original density is calculated to manually set the exposure, the warning is properly given when the proper developed image can not be obtained by comparing the manually set voltage of the exposing lamp with the optimum voltage of the exposing lamp. Thus, miscopying can be prevented and the image of intended density can be easily obtained. |
