PURPOSE:To make synthesized voice easily hearable by giving a function which changes the time of the no-sound section between each phoneme drawn out from a voice synthesizing LSI to a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:A voice ROM 3 which stores data of plural phonemes A, B,..., N and a voice synthesizing LSI 2 which assembles each phoneme A, B,..., N draw out from the voice ROM 3 in accordance with the instruction code of a microcomputer 1, are provided. Then the function which changes the time of each no-sound section A, B,..., N-1 between each phoneme A, B,..., N drawn out from the LSI 2 is given to the microcomputer 1. Therefore, the synthesized voice can become closer to the speech of actual human being because of the difference in time, longer or shorter, between each phoneme and, as a result, easily hearable voice. |
