PURPOSE:The titled composition effective for removing dental plaque, reinforcing the surface of the teeth, and promoting recalcification, comprising a specific amount of NaCl and/or KCland MgCl2 besides synthetic hydroxy apatite powder as ingredients. CONSTITUTION:A toothpaste composition containing synthetic hydroxy apatite powder is blended with 0.1-20wt% based on composition NaCl and/or KCl, and 0.003-3wt% MgCl2, to give a toothpaste composition effective for removing dental plaque (bacterial plaque) attached to the teeth. This composition may contain citric acid, lactic acid, acetic acid, pyrophosphoric acid, glutamic acid, etc. |
