摘要 PURPOSE:To enable an adjustment of a paper gap only when the adjustment is required and contrive a shorter printing time, by supplying an operation instruction from a console panel to a controlling part for rotating an eccentric shaft by a stepping motor according to a signal from a micro-switch which is provided in the vicinity of a printing head and is operated when making contact with the surface of a printing paper. CONSTITUTION:With a switch on a console panel 11 operated, a stepping motor 8 is driven to rotate an eccentric shaft 7, thereby turning a carrier unit 5. When a micro-switch 3 makes contact with a printing paper 2 comprising a printing surface, a signal is sent from the micro-switch 3 to a controlling part 10. The controlling part 10 rotate a motor 8 further by a predetermined amount, thereby reversely turning the carrier unit 5, and the motor 8 is stopped and maintained at a position where the gap between a printing head 4 and the paper 2 is equal to a predetermined gap, whereby the head 4 is opposed to the paper 2 with an appropriate gap therebetween. The rotating amount of the motor 8 is preliminarily inputted to the controlling part 10 in accordance with the gap between the head 4 and the paper 2. At the time of redoing the gap adjustment, the above operation is repeated by again operating the console panel 11.
