摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the title oxide which is crystallized in a short time with laser pulse for erasure and enables satisfactory erasure as well as recording when formed into a thin film and used as the recording medium of an optical disk by mixing powders of TeO2, Tl2O and PbO in a prescribed ratio and melting them to obtain the compd. oxide having a specified compsn. CONSTITUTION:Powders of TeO2, Tl2O and PbO are mixed in a prescribed ratio and melted to obtain a compd. oxide having a compsn. (mol.%) within the range defined by straight lines connecting a point A (49.9% TeO2, 50.1% PbO), B (49.9% TeO2, 50.1% Tl2O), C (100% Tl2O), D (80.0% PbO, 20.0% Tl2O) and E (80.0% PbO, 20.0% TeO2) in the TeO2-Tl2O-PbO ternary constitutional diagram.
