Floating rescue bathing islet

A floating rescue or bathing islet is assembled from many floating sectors which are joined to form a closed ring by two protruding squares on one side face which fit into suitable square holes on the mating face and are held by pins in them. A ladder gives access to the islet. A ballast centre is used to anchor the islet to a weight on the sea bed. The fibre-reinforced plastic shell is covered on top by an antislip film and is filled with closed-cell rigid plastic foam.
