The device has a modulator for conversion of the analogue voltage into a series of uniform pulses, a transmission system for the pulse train transmission and a demodulator for recovery of the original analogue voltage from the pulse train. The analogue voltage is discontinuously sampled in the modulator, and the sample controls the pulse repetition frequency. Each pulse (In+1) generated during sampling is spaced from the preceding pulse (In) by a standard spacing (To) for voltage value zero, shortened or increased by a time interval (DELTA T) proportional to the instantaneous value of the analogue voltage.
